How do I set the multiplier for the Xeon E5-2697v4 processor in the M60 02.62, HP Z440 BIOS to basic, because it is now at low?

cpu speeds are automatic and determined by the cpu itself depending on cpu load and/or number of cpu cores in use

HP workstations do not allow overclocking,

as such the installed cpu will run at the rated speed of the installed processor model

 

note that all modern cpus have the ability to run at a "base" default frequency

and also at higher predefined boost frequency which is determined by the power/thermal draw of the cpu

  which is auto adjusted in real time up to the predefined max boost frequency and down to the base frequency

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that the E5 2697v4 processor is now running on LOW multiplier instead of BASIC. How do I change that?
