I have a workstation purchased recently. The unit developed a significant fault. The 'next day on-site' guarantee is far from accurate. Eventually, after spending hours trying to get through on the helpline, I received unhelpful advice from their telephone tech support. Finally, an engineer attended. On three separate occasions, he attempted to repair the unit (following HP's advice) only to leave it in a bricked condition. Now it won't even power up. Finally, after complaining, the processor was determined to be the probable cause. Guess what... a new one is currently unavailable due to "the ongoing pandemic." I'm not sure which pandemic HP is referring to as to my knowledge the last one ended over 2 years ago. I have been left with a useless £5000 machine with little hope of its imminent repair. Identical units are available with next-day delivery from the HP store, yet a replacement has not been offered. The situation is shameful. I have always advocated HP workstations for professional media creation, but not anymore. You would be well advised to look to another manufacturer for top-end workstations. This sorry episode has cost me dearly, loss of earnings and professional respect. I'm at a loss with how little HP now values its customers. Huge disappointment.
