Product: HP Z6 G4 Base Model Workstation
Operating System: Ubuntu LTS
I have a HP Z6 g4 base model workstation (with Nvidia RTX A4000 16GB GPU). I need to know whether I can upgrade my GPU.
1. Adding one more 16GB of the same GPU. Will it work, and is power enough?
2. Adding a new NVIDIA® RTX™ A6000 48GB graphics card?
Both cards are listed in the quick specs of the product from HP.
3. 16GB card is Full-Height Single Slot (4.4” Height x 9.5” Length) as 48 GB card is Full-Height Dual Slot (4.4” Height x 10.5” length)? I have two PCIe3 x16 slots. Will it fit? Does dual slot mean it requires two 16 slots together??
4. The power of 16GB card is 140W while that of 48GB is 300W. Is my power supply enough?
Please let me know.
