Hello HP community,

I have a HP Z840 Workstation, product number F5G73AV.( https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c04505606)

I can't understand from the specifications if there is compatibility with newer SSD M.2 NVMe  drives (like this one, for instance https://shop.westerndigital.com/products/internal-drives/wd-blue-sn550-nvme-ssd#WDS250G2B0C). I want to buy a new one on which to install my OS and to boot from it, and therefore need to know if I can get one of these or have to stick to the somewhat more standard SATA SSD's.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cheers,

Tiago Rocha

Hello @banhien, thank you for the quick reply. It's clearer now, and that document is more comprehensive than the ones I had found myself. It'll surely be helpful in the future.

Thank you once again. Regards
