HP t630 Thin Client - BIOS upgrade caused problem with RAM

Hello,

being unable to get support from HP I would like to ask the Community for hint / help.

I am using HP t630 Thin Client to run proxmox. Recent experiments made me to reinstal whole environment and I've decided to take the occasion and update BIOS. The BIOS version after the update is M40 v01.17 downloaded from HP's official website.

My terminal is equipped with two RAM memory chips (2x  4GB 1Rx16 pc4-2666V-SC0-11). After the BIOS update, HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI  returned memory error (failure id: GG9K7X-000CL6-GXNJ3G-40ND03; product id: 2ZV01AT#ABZ; current version 2.2.7.0 - BIOS). 

Moreover, each of the two RAM memory chips tested in either first or second slot passed the test when second slot was empty.

According to my knowledge, older BIOS versions run smoothly with my hardware configuration.

My question is:

(i) where I can find older BIOS versions to downgrade BIOS and see if it is the issue? (hp website links only to the latest;

(ii) I would appreciate support of the Community how else I can solve my problem.

I would only be able to help you with locating the previous BIOS versions.

You can find them by clicking to expand the Revision History section on the latest BIOS update page:

I used HP's web site: https://support.hp.com/pl-pl/drivers/hp-t630-thin-client/10522151 ; and no rev. history there 😞
