T640

I have a t640 thin client, but am looking to supply from a vehicle with DC power. Is there a power supply that takes in variable DC voltage vs AC

the best/easiest solution is to use a "QUALITY" inverter around 150 watts continuous or greater capacity

note that most cheaper inverters are not true sine wave, but a chopped square wave output which some electronic equipment will not tolerate

in your case the t640 uses a external 120v to 19.5 volt DC 3.5 amp power supply that will work with a square wave type inverter

there are also DC to DC inverters that replace the computer's power supply
