t630

Hi,

I am deploying t630's and also setting up our HPDM server so it works correctly. I'd like to be able to cause clients to wake up then PXE boot. But how do I set it up to Wake Up, try PXE boot first and if unsuccessful reboot the other way? Also if a client is stuck on "ERROR: No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed" how can I remotely make it shut down and try again?

Thank You!

would need to run a Bios Config Utility task, where 1st you get the Bios settings, then edit the settings with something like Notepad++, whereby you either change the boot order, and select allow network wake up, you could also select Network boot as 1st boot option, and IF/When you know when you wish to perform whichever task you want to, then you could set an automatic startup Day & Time, and then schedule your task within HPDM to run at that time
