Question has been asked before, but without solution.
I fitted a GeForce 1080 in the machine, which needs additional power the standard PSU cannot deliver. So I fitted a bigger power supply. Unfortunately, HP in it's infinite wisdom decided NOT to go with the standard ATX connectors but use some proprietary one. So I had to use a adapter cable to power the machine. Works fine, but when powered up, the BIOS nags it cannot find the PSU fan and waits for a key press. Is there a way to disable this message? Or is there a trick to let the machine think the fan is running fine?

you need to use a adapter that is specifically made for this model which will prevent the 515 (fan) error
