Hello everyone,
I'm really struggling to get assistance for HP Device Manager from HP so I will try my luck here.
I recently updated HP Device Manager to the latest version 5.0.13
Any task I send to my thin clients (T540) will fail with error :
2024-08-09 10:57:45 [Error details]: Copy files using Master repository.
Unable to download HPDMAgent.exe to c:\windows\temp from /Repository/Agents/HPWE8_64.
Unable to download agent.ver to c:\windows\temp from /Repository/Agents/HPWE8_64.
Unable to download update.exe to c:\windows\temp from /Repository/Agents/HPWE8_64.
Unable to execute Copyfile task.
Error code: 1071104, Error information: ftpclient\HttpClient.cpp@464: Failed to login 192.168.7.240:443,error:code Out of memory
I had a previous issue with my master repository from the update because the certificate changed which I resolved, but now I am stuck with this "Out of memory" and I don't now what to do ...
I hope I can find some fellows HPDM users to get me out of this 😭
Regards

Well, it turns out the problem was the version of agents installed on the thin clients
I recently installed 2 new thin clients and they came with an upgraded version of OS / agent installed, so I couldn't join them and manage them from my HPDM.
I had to update my HPDM version (with all its attendant problems lol) to make it work with the new thin clients.
But then, the oldest thin clients stopped responding to my HPDM tasks.
So I just manually installed the new agent version from my repository to my oldest thin clients and it turns out it solved my problem
Thanks for reading 🙂
