As of now we only support authenticate with username and password.
I will forward the thoughts to R & D and see if they can do that in the near future.
But again, this is not an officlal request, if any of HP customers are looking for a new feature, please submit impact case to to draw R & D 's attention.

Thanks for all your help. Is it possible to use IIS for a HTTPS server in addition to using it as an FTPS server for the repository? I fooled around with it for a while but could never get the test to pass when adding it on the console repository management.

I hate to say "No" but it's not supportted for now. HTTPS is not like FTP or FTPS, it has plenty of implementations which cannot compatible with each other. Out ultimate gold is to support those wildly used HTTPS server like IIS, but now HP Self built HTTPS server is the only option.
