z800
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I bought a HP Z800 with lsi sas1068e and bought 4 SSD to create 2 raid 0.

ssd are fine on slot 1,2,3 but didn't found ssd on slot 0 (sas hdd is running fine on this slot and the ssd is ok).

LSI sas1068e is running 6.22.00.00 (2008/04/10). Where can I found firmware files for this controller?

Tks,

VW

the z800 and the LSI 1068E controller is  way to slow to use SSD'S in Raid-0 there is no performance benefit to be gained

also the pci-e bus on the z800 is pci-e 2.0 not 3.0 which will limit any addin cards somewhat and the 1068-chipset is limited to 3TB or less when used as a boot drive

even using one SSD on the LSI 1068e will saturate the LSI Bus (IE- the ssd can xfer data faster than the LSI can handle it)

reconfigure the SSD(s) as single devices, or buy a newer LSI SAS/SATA PCI-E card that  might give you a  slightly faster speed such as the LSI 9260-8i  (pci-e 2.0) or the 9266-8i (pci-e 3.0 "works in 2.0 at slower speed)

last, the z800 LSI onboard controller does not have a firmware update
