Microsoft Windows XP (64-bit)

So I tried every possible method (holding shift down and clicking the power menu, doing powercfg /h:on, etc.) and I can't seem to find the option to hibernate. It hibernated just fine in W7 but in XP it's not working. Do I need more drivers? I've heard this occurs with NVIDIA/EVGA cards and that seems to be true. If i need more drivers, please provide a link to them below.

hibernate under XP could be spotty as the OS support was somewhat lacking, and the 64 bit of XP is worse as it's kernal is actually a mismash of new code and the existing "NT" kernel

your current hardware may not be fully compatible with the 64bit XP OS
