I have an HP Z600 V2 workstation that has a memory module failing.  The Z 600 has 6 banks of memory modules.  The error message states that the memory in bank 3 of CPU 1 is failing.  Which bank is associated with which CPU?  Also, can I upgrade the memory from 48 to 96 GB.  Everything I've seen says that since it is a V2, it can see and use 96 GB of memory.  Thanks for the help.

48gb is the official HP supported limit, 96GB was not tested by HP and may not work with current high density memory ic's used on newer dimms

the memory layout is covered in the z600 service manual and should also be posted on the case side cover
