Hello,

I need help about Hp Thunderbolt Dock 230W G2, which I have connected to HP MobileWorkstation.
I have noticed, that the fan is not always on in the Thunderbolt. It turns on for example every 5 minutes and runs for 10 minutes and then turns off. It repeats itself. It is the same, when laptop is turned off, the fan in Thunderbolt turns on and turns off after 5-10 minutes. Is this normal?
Thanks for the help and answers.

Aljaž

That is normal. A heat sensor controls the fan, it will ON/OFF when required (depending on the threshold of temperature)
