HP Z240

Hi I've seen a listing for a HP Z240, it has a 400W psu I just wanted to ask how many 6 pin connectors are there? If there's only one is it ok to use a 6 to 8 pin adapter for the 1660 ti? It has an i7 7700k and 32gb ddr4

@2FAST4UU,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

No worries, your 400-watt power supply as equipped with one 6-pin PCIe power supply cable, can deliver up to 12V x 16A = 192-watt, which is more than sufficient to power a GTX 1660 Ti (120-watt TDP), not even to mention the 75-watt your PCIe x16 slot provides:

You can safely use a 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe power adapter cable!

Kind Regards,
