Hi:

The dc7900 is a very old PC and it may not have support for using a USB keyboard and mouse to get into the F9 boot options menu or the F10 BIOS setup menu.

I have used PS/2 to USB adapters before and never gotten them to work.

I assume you just acquired the PC and since it is at least 13 years old, the previous owner may have made some BIOS setting changes to disable Legacy USB support.

See if this works before you buy a P/S2 keyboard and mouse (which you will have to do if the below step doesn't work).

Clear the CMOS so it sets the BIOS settings back to their factory defaults:

Refer to the Troubleshooting Guide, Appendix B, pages 63 & 64 for how to do that.

I have this PC at the trash, and i'm tryna to restore this PC, i thought the bios is same like my old HP compaq D330 DT which can enter the bios setup at the USB port

So yeah, thanks for the solution, i might buy some cheap ps/2 keyboard, previously my ps/2 keyboard is broken, so i sell it at the junkman
