Hp z440
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi.

Do any one know what form factor the z440 motherboard has?
I want to put it in a new case but are not shore if it will fit. So if anyone knows a case that works or if it is possible to swap cas please let me know.

you will have three main issues with placing a z440 board in a different case as the board is a semi custom design

1. power, the z440 is not atx compatible and will require a adapter

https://www.amazon.com/GinTai-24Pin-Adapter-Supply-Replacement/dp/B08N4NZ9XK

2. motherboard rear I/O is custom and finding a compatible one is sometimes difficult

https://www.ebay.com/itm/284146508141

3. front panel I/O (lights-USB ports) the z440 pinout is very close to the xw workstations

4. proper cooling, simply because a case has upteen RGB fans does not mean those fans are actually cooling the case

many cheap cases are not actually tested for proper airflow i recommend looking at the gamers nexus website for their case reviews

it appears that you have not actually invested any time on your end with this project, i recommend you do so and then after reading up on this if you have any questions ask

Totally agree... these are custom engineered and last a very long time so some investment is worthwhile.

Search eBay for "Z440 bare bones" and filter for price and shipping least. Build from there.
