Hi. I just bought an HP z440 and it starts but that's it. It starts, goes 1 minute on silent and after that the fans start getting very loud and that's it. Doesn't connect to the monitor at all, no beep nothing. Almost like an airplane 😄
Does anybody got any idea?
Thank you very much.

Let's assume you have a functional processor, memory, and video card in place...
This is not a good sign for you. Usually this is due to a corrupted BIOS, and not corrupted by just a little bit. Or, a bad motherboard. In our experience it is relatively rare to be able to fix this, so the hope is you can return the workstation and get a good one, known to function. I'd try that as your best option.
One way to fix this if you're very lucky is to look up how to do a deep reset of BIOS. That is more than just pushing the little yellow button on the motherboard (however I'd try that first, then if that failed I'd try a deeper reset). If that deeper reset worked it usually would get you to factory default BIOS settings (which are good).
If you can't get your money back and those two steps don't work then I'd to a motherboard transplant. The Z440 motherboards are relatively inexpensive off eBay. That usually fixes the problem. The Z440 is still an excellent workstation, and can be tuned up nicely once you get it functional.
