Your suggestion is to purchase 300€ card just to see if it works, not even having solid evidence that it is the cause of the problem. While even with the cheaper adapter you suggested, the original author of this post is having problem. Will you be the one to refund the adapter purchase if it does not work? Sorry but this kind of suggestions are irresponsible and not that helpful. I'm open to your any other suggestion or hints what might be the problem and have no problem to test bios settings or something else. I don't have problem with your suggestions and trying them out. Only that one suggestion to purchase something that I most likely don't need.
Currently I made a adapter cable to route the CPU1 fan PWM to the rear fans PWM signal and this helps to keep it quiet for now.
