@Moamen44,

Yes, as I mentioned before, the RTX 3050 Eagle 8GB graphics card would fit just fine in an HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation.  I have used this platform a number of times for upgrade purposes (Upgrading an HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation - HP Support Community - 8698680 and: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-an-HP-Z2-Tower-G4-Wor...), and as you can see, there is plenty of space to fit a full-sized (three cooling fan) graphics card:

But as @DGroves mentioned, if you got the 250-watt power supply, this graphics card will fit but cannot be powered by this power supply, as the manufacturer recommends a minimum 450-watt power supply.

If you got the 500-watt power supply (p/n: L07304-003), it comes with 2 x 6-pin PCIe power cables. Each 6-pin PCIe power cable can deliver 12V x 16A = 192-watt power. A GeForce RTX 3050 EAGLE OC 8GB has a 130-watt TDP and requires one 8-pin PCIe power cable which means that you can safely use a 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe adapter cable. A 650-watt power supply (p/n: L36049-003 / L57253-003) comes with two 6+2-pin (8-pin) PCIe cables.

Kind Regards,

@Moamen44,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Yes, your HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation can power and can physically fit an RTX 3050 of your choice.

The GeForce RTX 3050 Eagle OC 8GB requires a minimum 450-watt power supply, and your Workstation is either fitted with the 500- or 650-watt power supply, so either way, you are good to go.

actually there is a base 250 watt power supply besides the upgraded 500/650 watt units

@DGroves,

Thank you for pointing that out!

@Moamen44, there are RTX 3050 low profile models which does not require any PCIe power cable and has but a 70-watt TDP which makes it compatible to be powered by a 250-watt power supply if your Workstation happens to be fitted with a 250-watt power supply (and you don't want to upgrade your power supply), such as: GIGABYTE RTX 3050 OC Low Profile 6 GB Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database and: ASUS RTX 3050 LP BRK OC 6 GB Specs | TechPowerUp GPU Database.

@Moamen44,

No worries, we are here to assist you.

Yes, there are better (higher performing) graphics cards for you to choose from, but it depends on your budget.

For example:

RTX 3060 12GB

RTX 2070

RTX 4060 8GB

RTX 3060 Ti (models powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable such as this one.)

RTX 4060 Ti (models powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable such as this one.)
