I have a laptop hp17t-by400 and it is model number 18B32AV. One day, my charger does not fit inside the charge port of the laptop, so I try to move the pin of the socket to let the charger fits inside the socket. Finally, I realized that the charger has a layer of glass and this block fitting the charger with laptop. Then, I break the layer of glass and the charger plugged in the laptop but the laptop not charging and I think because I scratched the pin of the socket but I am not sure, so can you tell me that if am right or wrong. Also, if the dc power jack is damaged, can you tell me what is the part number of dc power jack of this laptop?

you have damaged the charge port on the laptop, at this point you need to have a "QUALIFIED" repair shop replace the jack
a HP authorised shop is preferred, however if none are near you and mailing it to a HP authorised service center is not what you want to do, then a "QUALIFIED" non HP service shop can most likely repair it but it's up to you to determine if a non hp shop is qualified.................
