Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been tasked with checking the warranties of various servers. All these servers are listed in an Excel file, and since we have many customers, we quickly lose track. Therefore, my question is: Do you have a program or script that can read the serial numbers and product numbers, perform the warranty check, and automatically import the warranty package details and expiration date into the Excel sheet?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Gonçalo Vieira

inventory data collection is a "VERY COMMON" task in most medium to large business and as such there are numerous software applications that can perform network based data collection of network attached devices which includes a systems basic information up to extremely detailed data collection and export this information into various formats such as excel and you can then use this excel file to perform a bulk serial check on the HP site
google is your friend............. link below is one line, just do a copy and paste
click on link below then click on the multiple number check link you can also add devices to a user profile and export devices listed on this web page in CSV format
