Hello,
It seems some people were able to get Windows 11 installed on Z620. I wonder if I can still get the Win11 insider build installed on Z620 and will that edition get the updates?
Please advise,
Thanks

Paul_Tikkanen is a high level expert here who has posted several times on exactly how he has been able to install Windows 11 on even older HP workstations than the Z620. He also has specifically stated that when W11 updates have been released his W11 installs on those computers also get upgraded.
Whether that will last forever is uncertain, but I expect that it will.
Go find his posts here in this forum on that... use the search bar here and Google sometimes will do a better job at that too.

Yes, there have been many posts in this forum that confirm your statement -- sometimes by "bypassing" the check for hardware requirements that Windows 11 does to identify "non-compatible" hardware.

Given that Windows 11 has officially been released, it is possible that the "insider build" program will be reduced or ended.
This is a forum for HP computers. Only Microsoft can answer your "will it get updates" question.
Microsoft will update Windows 10 through to October 2025.
So, do you have a "need" to install Windows 11 before that date?

I don't have a "need" to update to Win11 but checking out options currently available. Hopefully my Z620 will survive until 2025 running Win10.
Looked at an option mentioned by Paul. It might work but it doesn't talk about the license part once upgraded.
It's a shame that Microsoft has put the h/w requirements which aren't necessarily required for running Win11 and HP didn't add support of win11 for Z workstations.
Thanks
