Hi,
I tried installing a new TRT Radeon Rx 550 graphics card on the PC, but when I turn it cause make a single beep and then doesn’t come ON on the monitor but the system and graphics card comes ON. I noticed this with their fans which keeps spinning. I’ve updated the bios but still nothing shows on the monitor.
when I removed the graphics card. Everyone’s works normal like new.
PS: I also increased the RAM to 40 gb
how do I resolve this.
thanks

on average the AMD radeon rx 580 requires a 500 watt power supply minimum
the HP prodesk 600 g2 has a stock 250 watt supply or a optional 400 watt unit (see the problem yet?)
this means you can only use a nvidia 1030/1050 card (250 watt supply) or up to a 1060 (400 watt supply)
you can buy a power adapter co enable use of a std ATX power supply this will require the power adapter AND A 550 WATT power supply
power adapter:

power supply: (stay with NAME BRAND pwr supply makers!!)

Okay, yea. Why didn’t they specify this at their documentation.

they do,..........where do you think i got the numbers from
HP quickspecs for prodesk 600 g2 microtower lists the power supply numbers
https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA6-1494EEE.pdf
amd lists the recommended wattage for the rx580
https://www.amd.com/en/products/graphics/radeon-rx-580
or a simple google query:
seems to me it's you that didn't look that hard
