I have an EliteDesk 800 G8 SFF PC with HP 889C motherboard and Intel UHD Graphics 750 display board, all as delivered from HP, now running Windows 11.

All updates provided via the HP Support Assistant have been applied.

I am prompted by the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to install the Graphics Driver described below.

Should I do this or should I only install drivers offered by the HP Support Assistant?

=====================================

Description:
This download installs Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7084 for 11th-14th Gen Intel® Core™ Processor Graphics.
Version:  32.0.101.7084

That's a personal choice for which you will get varying opinions.

I always use the latest Intel graphics driver offered by Intel.

I've never had a problem with doing that, which is why I continue to follow that approach.

Others only use the drivers provided by HP on the PC's support page.

If you want to keep the PC updated with the latest drivers offered by the Intel DSA, create a system restore point before running the driver from Intel so that in the unlikely event there's a problem with the driver, you can go back to the currently installed HP graphics driver.

Many thanks Paul. What you describe makes sense.

I plan to do as you do on this occasion.
