I want to upgrade my workstation 

currently using HP Z8 G4 intel Xeon silver 4114, 32 GB memory , RTX 2080ti GPU, 

 

using software ; autodesk, vray, lumion, 3ds Max , corona , forestpack, ADIB after-effect, maya

 

i want to change my processor due to low clock speed for rendering its takes long time, 

 

is it possible to install intel Xeon w2255

most of your listed apps are multi core aware, however many plugins for these apps are not see if you can replace or update any plugins you use to multi core versions if the current ones are single threaded

 

lumina is like vray, but uses the GPU rather than the CPU for rendering so a faster cpu will most likely not change rendering times for these apps

 

last all currently supported HP cpu's are listed their documentation, if it's not listed then HP does not support it currently

 

your w2255 glacial falls chip is not a supported chip and is not hardware compatible,

 

a xeon 6152 is comparable mhz wise and has twice the core count
