Hi @marsef018,

Thank you for sharing the above information.

To determine if your HP 8643 motherboard is compatible with the MSI RTX 3050, you need to consider a few factors:

PCIe Slot: The RTX 3050 requires a PCIe x16 slot. Check if your motherboard has this slot available.

Power Supply: The RTX 3050 requires additional power, so ensure your power supply unit (PSU) has enough wattage (typically at least 550W) and the necessary PCIe power connectors.

Case Size: Ensure your case has enough space for the graphics card, as the RTX 3050 can be quite large.

BIOS: Some pre-built systems may have BIOS limitations regarding newer graphics cards. Check if there are any BIOS updates available for your motherboard.

CPU Bottleneck: Make sure your CPU is not significantly older or lower-performing than the RTX 3050, as this could lead to performance bottlenecks.

If your motherboard has the required PCIe slot, your power supply is adequate, and there's enough physical space, then you should be able to use the RTX 3050. If not, you may need to consider a motherboard upgrade along with other components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
