Version 2.15.20 was released just today: Oct 18, 2024
The intel USB was mentioned in the fix.
Does the keyboard work in BIOS and UEFI?
Have you run diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. . Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
If the keyboard works, try to install the new bios
If you fail diagnostics do not attempt a bios upgrade or you might permanently damage the PC.
After bios upgrade do the CMOS reset
Follow the steps below to reset computer CMOS data.
1. Turn off the computer. |

Hi, I installed the latest update released yesterday but unfortunately this also doesn't solve the problem.
The keyboard continues to be recognized as PS2.
We have received confirmation from the supplier that other desktops in the same series have the same problem

you wrote that it was not working.
Does the keyboard work during UEFI test ? If so then the problem is windows.
PS2 is the default keyboard. if you want a different keyboard you need to change the keyboard or the language or both
UEFI language change
Here is how to fix it:
Boot into the UEFI diagnostics F2. |
windows keyboard change
Open Region and Language by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Region and Language. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab. Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.

Hi, I probably expressed myself badly, the keyboard works perfectly on the BIOS and on the temporary one, the problem is obviously Windows and the Windows drivers but the problem is caused by the latest HP firmware update.

I found the solution that worked for me:
after the update the registry key: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96b-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} was modified by adding a HP filter.
I removed the HP line from the "UpperFilters" value and left only "kbdclass" and after rebooting everything works correctly!
