Another user by the name of SDH was posting in 2017 here about an optical drive handle sold by hp to install in the top optical drive to help lug around workstations . In his post it’s said to fit in z workstations and xw series workstations. I imagine this products obsolete like my pc but if anyone can help me inquire about one of these handles that would be amazing thanks. I have already tried myself to find it if anyone can help.

That was a dual purpose 5.25" bay adapter that mainly was to provide a nice mounting for two added 2.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs. Because those drives are short HP realized they could fit in a front handhold component. You can still find those on the US eBay if you know the actual assembly part number. What you have is the Option part number. Some are coming from China, where they were always made, and all are HP originals. They may be new old stock or recycled but always in perfect condition from our experience.
These will work in virtually any HP workstation that has an empty top 5.25" bay available, and they are very strong. You could even mount them a bit lower than the top bay, such as the second or even the third bay down. I'd recommend always also using the optional security screw on the open-case side for added strength... I think it is another one of the short black metric M3 size but not 100% sure. The part number to search eBay/google for is 660542-001, stamped into a metal edge, shown below. These are not as inexpensive as they used to be but at least the China sources usually ship almost anywhere.
