I am trying to configure 2 NVME drives in RAID for OS while using SATA drives for storage. When I enable RAID for the M2 slots the SATA drives do not show up in disk management or even the BIOS. Am I limited by the total available lanes when RAID is enabled?

I was under the impression Intel Optane was a first generation proprietary NVME-type storage but it gets automatically enabled when RAID is checked in the BIOS and can only be unchecked when RAID is unchecked. Am I misunderstanding this feature?
