HP Z240 Tower Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am currently having in my HP Z240 a NVIDIA QUADRO M2000 installed... I am planning to get a NVIDIA QUADRO P2000.

Can I install, both NVIDIA QUADRO M2000 and NVIDIA QUADRO P2000, on the 2 available slots, at the same time without creating any issues (especially power consumption) ? Does this setup make sense as the P2000 is more powerful than the M2000 and I do not think it is possible to combine  the "power" of both the M2000 and P2000 graphic cards ?

My HP Z240 is running WIN 10 PRO with 32 Gb RAM.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,

Nico

@NicoBel, welcome to the forum.

Here is the "Maintenance and Service Guide" for the workstation.  In Chapter 1, Page 13, is information about the Graphics card support.  Here is what it says:

Multiple graphics cards are supported, provided their total power consumption is less than 45W.

Each of the cards that you mentioned has a maximum power consumption of 75W.
