I want to mount hp prodesk 600 g2 Desktop Mini under a desk. The easiest way is for the computer to be screwed to a slat to attach to the underside of the desk. But in this case the computer will be turned upside down. Is there a problem if it works in reverse position?

as a rule of thumb, heat rises, so mounting the unit upside down will cause any heat to be directed TO the motherboard instead of away from it

with that said, the mini version of 600 g2 does not generate much heat, as such a upside down mounting will not be much of a issue

you will also note that the the top/bottom are solid surfaces without any air slats

personally i would get some 90 degree brackets and mount them to the side of the case so it can be mounted with out doing a upside mounting
