I have a hp compaq elite 8200 ultra slim
With 8gb ram
120 ssd
AMD radeon HD 5450 512 mb vram
I recently got nvidia quadro 1000m 2gb vram
I installed the drivers from the nvidia website
And when I went into msi afterburner the clock
Speed was lower than my radeon
And the evertime i would try to up the clock speed on the slider it would just go back to were it was
So can anyone help me on this

messing with things you don't fully understand is a great way to either have a unstable system or a dead video card
do your self a favor and fully read the afterburner docs
next trying to compare two compleatly different gpu architectures by simply assuming that the frequency range of each is the same and should work the same will also result in a unstable system or a dead video card
laptops and small form factor systems are not systems that have headroom for overclocking due to the thermal issues faced by systems that have limited thermal headroom due to the size of the system
