Paul is correct that it's strongly advised not to run a win 7/vista bios updater from within win 10 as some update exe's may not work correctly under a later OS
however you may have another option as most (but not all) bios updaters also have a DOS updater included
use winzip/winRAR on the HP SPxxxxx file to extract the contents (or just run the SP file but say no to the actual update)
now go to the extracted SP folder and look for a DOS folder, and if there look inside for the .txt file on how to use
Edit:
i just looked at the SP46442 and in it's extracted contents there is no DOS folder but the AFUWin.exe file tells me that this is a AMI updater for windows and AMI also made a AFUDOS program that runs in DOS
the latest ver is AFUDOS Flasher 5.05.04
