When I set up this new computer I selected to use a backup from the wrong computer.  I'm pretty sure that I should be able to start over by going into Computer Setup to restore factory settings but the instructions in the manual to press f10 when the logo appears on start up doesn't work.  I've tried pressing f10 multiple times, holding it down, pressing escape, nothing works.  Can anyone help with this situation!  Thanks.

the wrong image you used to do the restore most likely lacks the restore feature as such the bios is unable to launch the restore app when the f10 key is used

all is not lost however as your system is supported by HP "cloud recovery" which allows you to download the original restore Image to a bootable USB key

select either win 10 or win 11
