HP Compaq DC5800
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hell All

after doing some maintenance my device manager displayed.

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

PCI bus 0, device 3, function 0

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29D4&SUBSYS_281E103C&REV_02

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29D4&SUBSYS_281E103C

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_29D4&CC_078000

I was working last time I did maintenance

I tried different driver scans and the results are no new drivers needed.

I also searched within the compter with same results.

Thanks in advance

Hi:

You need this driver for that device...

This package contains the Intel Active Client Manager Host Embedded Controller Interface (HECI) device driver for the supported desktop models and operating systems.

Solved!

No-Pci simple communication controller

I have the same PC & details as Novis-12 originally posted on 10-19-2016 except my Win 10 is 64-bit.

I think it happened when I was uninstalling Arcsoft software for an old TV usb tuner that I never use anymore, and I answered "Yes to all" when it asked about removing some dlls.

I have tried running the links others suggested but get a Win32 error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
