which key are you using to enter the bios? for your system it's F10

also some usb and newer ps2 keyboards can cause this issue due to their cheap non standard electronics

if possible use a older OEM type ps2 or usb keyboard

I have tried all keys from escape to f10,f12 even with ctrl, none work, and I dont have acess to an older keyboard

I also have used the PS2 method of getting into BIOS when a USB keyboard would not work. Assuming that you have access to US eBay here is what to do. Search eBay for HP PS2 keyboard new, select the option to show price and shipping lowest first, and look for a new older HP PS2 keyboard that way. It will cost you about 15.00 USD including shipping.

One I use here is HP part number 434820-002... go search eBay for that if you wish.

PS2 is a more primitive electronic interface having nothing to do with the more complex USB approach. Why would HP still be having PS2 ports on their high end workstations? It has to do with the fact that some security situations require all USB ports to be filled with epoxy. However, I doubt that is your problem.
