Set the K40 pci slot speed to gen3 in the BIOS.

 

P.S. What CPU and RAM do you have installed?

I don't know how to set speed to gen3: the only options i found as said before is speed "limit" and I think it works in opposite way, limiting max speed. My cpu is e5 2667v2 but ram is ddr 1600.

In the BIOS  - Limit PCIe Speed section, there is a drop down setting for Gen1, 2, 3 or Auto for each PCIe slot.
