Hi @CR202307,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP 2210m monitor is a display monitor and does not have built-in speakers. Therefore, it is not capable of playing sound on its own. If you want to have sound output from your OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0xxx PC, you will need to connect external speakers or headphones directly to the audio output ports on your PC.
The upgrade to Windows 11 should not affect the sound output capabilities of your PC. However, it's always a good idea to check your sound settings after a major operating system upgrade to ensure that the correct audio devices are selected and the volume levels are properly configured.
To check the sound settings in Windows 11, you can follow these steps.
- Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar (usually located in the bottom right corner of the screen) and select "Open Sound settings."
- In the Sound settings window, make sure that the correct output device is selected under the "Output" section. If you have external speakers or headphones connected to your PC, they should be listed here.
- Adjust the volume slider to an appropriate level and test the sound by playing some audio or a video.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
