Option board for Z2 G9

Recently purchased this machine and I'd like to add some options boards so I can use the front bezel USB-C port and SD card. I know the modules can plug in to the mainboard but I'm not finding any option boards on HP Part Surfer website.

I want to add

-USB-C option board

-SD card option board 

These will allow me to use the slots in the front bezel that have the little plastic cutout.

the SD card reader Option  (and USB port) are only available when configuring a system for purchase they cannot be added later

this is why parts surfer does not list them

however i suspect the card reader is the one that hp uses in several other models

the HP card reader is a SD only form factor reader, which can also read micro SD's using a adapter

the HP part number of this reader is  797441-001 or 796321-001, (search on eBay) it's around 30.00

personally, i would install a 5.25 to 3.5 tray adapter in the systems front panel

and then install a 3.5in usb 3.0 multi format card reader using a low profile pci-e 3.1 card w/19 pin header

for the USB ports, i suspect you require the "flex-IO" v2 board part number 13L60AT
