HP Z4 G5 Workstation Desktop PC RCTO Base Model

Hello,
we bought 23 pcs. "HP Z4 G5 Workstations" and added MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Graphic Cards to the devices.

The Problem is, that now an error message occurs at every boot: "519 - Aux Fan not detected".

The fans are working properly.

Is there any chance to suppress this error message during booting?
The 23 workstations are actually non-usable; it's not possible to sit next to every device pressing Enter at every boot during the deployment (or the additional restarts during the software setups).

Beside that, we start our lab computers bios-controlled every sunday evening so that they can do all the (Windows-)Updates and pending software installations/updates. This also won't work anymore now with the new workstations, so all the devices are not usable for us at the moment. There's a lot of money lying around in my storage right now, but not more.

I have already tried to rollback the BIOS to version 01.01.19 - no success.

Updating it back to the latest version 01.01.23 did also not help.

This has been reported earlier but there is no solution, yet: Post error 519-Aux fan not detected - HP Support Community - 8855967

I urge you to create a support ticket with HP so they can find and fix the problem and release a BIOS update for all customers.

Hello again,

I fear that there won't be a BIOS Update out in near future to fix this. Our reseller told us today, that it seems that there has to be another fan-device used if a "powerful graphics card is attached" (which was the reason to buy workstations).

The part number for this part would be "56Q84AA" - but it's sold out everywhere (or you have to wait weeks until it gets delivered).
There has been no information about this anywhere, so why should I buy another spare part (the price is around 100€) to get the brand new workstations running? In my opinion this is a big mistake from HP - and we are already considering to send the workstations back and replace them with Lenovos.

But i still don't get it: why we have to use another fan board, if the graphics card itself has more than one mounted...?
