this error is usually caused by either running a old bios,

or running a new bios that also requires the ME firmware to be updated

to resolve either, update to the latest bios and also update the Management Firmware

directions to perform both are included with each SPxxxx update file

you can also safely ignore this error if you are not comfortable flashing your system

These messages will be suppressed in a future BIOS planned in August 2018 and after BIOS versions. The message will be suppressed to alleviate customer intervention of having to press Enter to continue.
HP may decide to allow the message back in future BIOS versions with a feature enhancement to allow for better automation ability.

the answer isn't exactly a difficult one....................

download the necessary files on another system, then run said files locally on the system to be updated
