Printer cable for EliteDesk 800 G3... what type of cord is needed? HDMI or USB doesn't seem to fit in the slot.

Well the ACER Model S271HL is a monitor and it does require a HDMI or a VGA connection.
The HP EliteDesk 800 G3 does have a VGA port, so you may need to get a VGA cable. HDMI to VGA adapter generally do not work properly.

Depending on the printer but most modern printers connect with either USB or network.
Be aware the end connector on a USB cable that connects to the printer looks different than the end that connects to the PC.
Please indicate the printer make and model, then I can comment on what is needed.

Hi, @JanusProp
Unless you buy a very expensive VGA to HDMI video cable that can convert the analog signal from the VGA port to a digital signal that the HDMI port uses, it will not work.
Your PC has a display port in the rear...That is digital.
Buy a Display port to HDMI cable such as this and you will be able to connect to your monitor with no problem.
