Product: ProDesk 400 G1 SFF
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I would like to upgrade the crappy Pentium in this computer to either of these two CPUs: i7-4790 or i5-4590. Neither of these are on HP's list, but I'm wondering if they would work anyway. I'm able to get either one of those CPUs (preferably the i7) for a pretty good deal, so other CPUs aren't really a preferred option. They're both 84 watt CPUs, so they (in theory) should work, but I know system OEMs like Dell, HP, and Lenovo restrict certain upgrades for no apparent reason...
