There is a report of someone running an i7-3770K in their PC.

HP's official quickspecs for this model system does show that HP has tested and approved the 3770 non "K" so yes you can run that unlocked "K" model cpu

 

however HP does not support overclocking, so you will not be able to make use of the 3770K's unlocked multiplier to increase the cpu's speed through the bios
