Prodesk 400 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

We have a client that has a Prodesk 400 G3 that is still under warranty.  They need the capaibilty of running dual monitors via DVI (don't want to purchase new monitors).  Will installing a EVGA GT 1030 void the computer's warranty?

Hi:

This is a peer to peer forum.

We are not authorized to discuss HP warranty terms or policies.

I would say that if the power supply meets the manufacturer's specs for the video card you want to install, the warranty would be intact.

If you want to get confirmation on the warranty, in the USA/Canada, you can call HP at:  1-800-334-5144

I have the EVGA GT 1030 in my HP 8200 Elite CMT and it works great.

The 8200 Elite CMT has a 320W P/S.

If I had the 400 G3 MT, I would not hesitate to install one.

It only draws a max of 30W.
