We have a Proliant ml310e gen8 v2 that was perfect till yesterday it started shutting down for no apparent reason, there is nothing in the IML, and only the ILO event log showing these events:
2723 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 1 | Server power removed.
2722 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 1 | iLO network link up at 10 Mbps.
2721 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 1 | Embedded Flash/SD-CARD: Restarted.
2720 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 01/10/2023 16:48 | 1 | iLO network link down. |
I have also run the complete hardware test through the "Intelligent Provisioning" "offline insight diagnostic" tool, and everything passed the tests.
The strange thing is that the server is shutting down exactly one hour after being turned on, which makes me wonder if this should be a soft issue. I have updated to the latest ILO 4 version 2.81 but didn't help.
I also switched to another spare PSU to make sure that this isn't a power supply issue, and the server again shut down after 1H of being on with the new spare PSU.
This issue coincided with the addition of a new 4G router to our network, and the server shut down around 1H after this change.
I think I'm missing something and really need your help as this is a production server!
Thanks in advance for your prompt reply!
