Hello,
I am looking for some type of RAID management software for the HP Z8 G4 Workstation (Z3Z16AV). I have installed any available update through HP Support Assistant, and also when detecting the drivers on the HP Software and Drivers website. I have also tried the Intel Driver Update utility, but it did not find anything. Also tried installing the latest Intel RST driver package, but setup ended prematurely as my platform wasn't supported.
I found the HP Smart Storage Administrator utility on the driver list for my model and installed it, but it only shows the Standard NVME Express SSD.
How can I find a storage administrator utility for my RAID controller? I do not want to come in one morning with a failed RAID because I didn't receive any alerts that a disk was failing/failed.

are you using the built-in intel Raid that's configured via the bios (VROC) or a add-in raid card?
is your raid a bootable one?
is it raid 0/1/5/6/10? if raid 5/6 do you have a online hot spare drive configured?
is it using SSD's or mech drives?
what capacity is the raid?
if using intel raid, then the intel VROC software will allow you to do basic raid config/monitoring

I figured out the issue. I installed the Intel VROC software last week, and it showed only one drive. I was not onsite until today, so I could not check or reboot to the BIOS to see if it was actually a single 14TB HD, or multiple drives in a RAID array. I get onsite today and find that it is a single 14TB HD. So that explains everything I'm seeing with it.
Thanks for your help!
