I really love my HP Prodesk 400 G3 mini but very much need expand storage. HDD 500 Gb is nice but know that the other options go to 1 and more TB. Also see m.2 available, of which I have several 2 TB sticks. So what is best way to increase storage for my great little friend?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the HP quickspecs for your PC.

 

HP ProDesk 400 G3 DM , 400 G4 MT/SFF, 480 G4 MT Desktop PCs (netsotech.com)

 

According to page 16, your PC has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.

 

So fi the M.2 SSD's you have are NVMe, they should work.

 

If they are SATA, you can try and see, but it may not work.
