Installed Skype for Business

Attempted to make a call, NO SOUND NO AUDIO

Checked all sound and audio settings on all devices 

Sound and Audio works fine but just not with SKYPE for Business

 

IMMEDIATE reposnse required please

Was Skype installed at your firm or was it preinstalled?

 

1.  As a first guess, if all 15 laptops have this issue, it's possible that there is an installation and/or connection problem:

 

__A.  Does the camera appear in Control Panel (or the Windows 10 equivalent)  as a working device with the correct driver?

 

__B.  My distant memory of setup during installation was that the installation program prompted various setting choices for audio and video setup. Did that procedure occur?- Perhaps the installation is not complete and each laptop needs to be setup separately?

 

__C.  Possibly, there are  problems relating to the Skype account / password setup.  I've never used the business version- and the free version only a very few times-, but it's possible each laptop will need to have a unique address and password to initiate and proceed with  setup of the audio and video. Again, this is raising the possibility that the installation is not complete.

 

2. If the laptops are on a network, there may be firewall issues.

That would proabably produce a more direct answer.
